The Polish capital Warsaw is the largest and most vibrant city in the country. While many people still associate the city with World War II, when almost all of Warsaw was destroyed, the city has changed dramatically over the past 70 years.
If you're traveling to Warsaw, check out the viewing platform in the Palace of Culture, which offers a wonderful panoramic view of the city. Then you can walk through the Old Town and visit the Royal Palace. If you are interested in history, go to the Polin Museum where the history of Polish Jews is told. This interactive museum is well worth a visit during your trip to Warsaw.
A short city break to Warsaw can be a romantic getaway or a fun weekend with the whole family.
